After wondering through a sea of fedora clad 30 somethings, we finally came across the ArtTribe charity after party at Bergamot Station. The party included performances by Thetan Level Seven, Auto Body, Super Mash Bros., and of course Animal Husbandry. Animal Husbandry consists of 7 guys: Dakota Blue, Sam Smith, Thomas Berg, Gabe Kanengeiser, Lewis Pullman, Henry Was, and Jordan Besser. The band's style can only be describe as folk/jungle with similar sounds to Man Man and Devendra Banhart although their sound is one in their own.If you want to hear some of Animal Husbandry's music, here's a link to their myspace.
Super Mash Bros, made up of LA natives Dick Fink and Nicolas Fenmore, were playing in the next room over. Known as "Girl Talk's Hot Cousin", Super Mash Bros had a great set. Unfortunately, Animal Husbandry pulled such a large crowd at the end, that it pulled away from the group at Super Mash Bros.
